NativeWay is a leading Engineering & MEP solutions provider operating across Sri Lanka, Maldives, and Bangladesh. We specialize in MEP Projects, Power Generation Solutions, HVAC Systems, Fire Protection Systems, and Premium After-Sales Engineering Services.
We are seeking a dynamic, business-driven, and technically competent Country Operations Manager to lead and expand our Maldives operations.
This role requires a strong leader capable of managing the complete operation while driving aggressive business growth in both MEP Projects and Diesel Generator Service & Repair sectors, especially within luxury resort environments where generators operate continuously.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the complete Maldives operation independently and efficiently.
- Drive sales growth for MEP projects and engineering solutions.
- Develop and expand the Diesel Generator Service & Repair business across resorts and commercial sectors.
- Build strong relationships with resort engineering teams, consultants, contractors, and key decision-makers.
- Develop forward-looking business strategies to expand the company’s market presence in Maldives.
- Lead and manage technical teams, project execution teams, and service personnel.
- Ensure timely project completion, customer satisfaction, and operational profitability.
- Identify new market opportunities and develop long-term business partnerships.
- Oversee service contracts, repair operations, quotations, negotiations, and customer follow-ups.
- Maintain strong operational control, reporting systems, and business discipline.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum 7+ years’ experience in Engineering Operations, MEP Projects, Power Generation, or Heavy Equipment Service industries.
- Strong exposure to Diesel Generator Service & Repair operations is essential.
- Experience handling resort-sector engineering operations in Maldives will be a significant advantage.
- Strong business development and customer relationship management skills.
- Excellent leadership and team management capabilities.
- Ability to work independently and take full responsibility for country operations.
- Strategic thinker with strong commercial and operational acumen.
- Engineering qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, or related field preferred.
